Elkhart County 4-H Fair ELKHART — With beloved local festivals and events and an attractive roster of new tourism assets, Elkhart County is well positioned for growth as National Travel and Tourism Week begins this week through May 13. To celebrate, the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting the public to the Elkhart County Visitors Center, 3421 Cassopolis St., Wednesday, May 10, to plan their summer fun both locally and throughout the state of Indiana. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 10, anyone coming to the visitor center can: Sign up for the chance to win enticing prizes from Elkhart County tourism businesses such as Das Dutchman Essenhaus, Main Street Roasters, South Side Soda Shop, Dutch Country Market, Wakarusa Dime Store and Olympia Candy Kitchen.
