For the second straight year, the Penn boys swim team took home the Northern Indiana Conference title. The Kingsmen (609 points) outlasted Riley (540) and New Prairie (376) despite only winning six of Saturday's 12 events at the Elkhart Acquatic Center.Penn won the 200-yard freestyle (Nate Temeles), 200 individual medley (Leo Ni), 100 butterfly (Nate Reininga) and 500 freestyle (Matthew Weeks). Ni also won the 100 backstroke and was part of Penn's 400 freestyle relay winning team.Elkhart's Lucas Byrd also made noise, setting the new league meet record in the 100 breaststroke and also winning the 100- butterfly.
